      The 2019 Hagel Lecture: A Conversation with Secretary Madeleine Albright and Secretary Chuck Hagel on                                                        Principled Foreign Policy in a Contentious World Please join us for the inaugural lecture of our annual lecture series, a forum to amplify and encourage greater civic participation in critical discussions.  Chuck Hagel, 24th U.S. Secretary of Defense, and keynote speaker Madeleine Albright, 64th U.S. Secretary of State, will discuss the importance of civil discourse and principled foreign policy, and assess the critical international issues of today. The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Robert Pape, Director of the Chicago Project on Security and Threats (CPOST), and will be followed by a Q&A session from the audience. An ASL interpreter will be on location for this event. Limited paid parking will be available at 5501 South Ellis Ave.
