      CARE's 8th Annual EARTH DAY FEST!"

      Sunday, April 18th, 10-4 - Free
      Lewis University, Rte 53, Romeoville, IL

      Join over 100 Exhibitors, Speakers & Live Entertainment – Free Event for For all ages - Bring your yoga mat, games for kids & Speakers for adults! Will County Landuse will be on board to take your old electronics, computers, monitors, printers, microwaves, CD’s DVD’s, TVs, etc., Bring your old Bikes for Working bikes who repairs & donates them to the needy, St Vincent will take Textiles & Gently worn shoes & clothes also for the needy; bring your old Ink Cartridges, Books, Cell phones & Eyeglasses. Larn about Reptiles, Wolves & Coyotes. Entertainment including – Watch Dave Dinaso’s Traveling World of Reptiles, & Big Run Wolf Ranch’s Coyote & Wolf presentations.

      Spend the day learning about your carbon footprint, solutions for clean energy, conservation, preservation & local environmental issues while listening to live music.
      Educational events such as Earth Day unites environmental groups, eco-friendly businesses and the general public of all ages to work toward a healthier, cleaner and safer environment.

      Will County acknowledged Citizens Against Ruining the Environment – C.A.R.E.’s 2008 & 2009 Earth Day Event as its “official” Earth Day ~ come & see what a small group of volunteers can do to help the environment!

      Citizens Against Ruining the Environment is an all volunteer, non profit 501c3 organization established in 1995. We are dedicated toward conservation, health & safety of humanity & the environment. This year’s event is Co-Sponsored by AV Martinez Middle School Ecology Club, Bath Fitter, Chevron, Hanson Material Service, Harrah’s, Lewis University, Lockport Township HS Interact Club, Next Media One, Times Weekly News, Waste Management, Will County & the Will County Landuse Dept. We’d also like to thank Environmental Law & Policy & Exxon & other donators who make this event possible.
