Me Too - Conversations with Jolie Brownell, 17 yo author

Stories and quotes from Jolie's book, Me Too ... what they mean for her and for others.

Jolie is 17 (she turns 18 in a couple of weeks). She was adopted from Haiti when she was 3. She has 5 siblings who were also adopted from Haiti.

Jolie lives in Portland, Oregon. She was bullied in middle school because of her skin, her hair, her curves, and her shyness. She started writing as an outlet for her feelings (www.metoogirl.com). Jolie recently published a number of her blog entries in this book.

Jolie was on a news show in Portland a couple of times (http://katu.com/afternoon-live/books-authors/me-too). She appears quite poised and well-spoken though she is actually kind of shy.
