      Participatory Arts Chosen Family Day: From A To Zine-making workshop

      Participatory Arts Chosen Family Day: A to Zine, activism and zine-making workshop Join Hull-House with your chosen family for a day of bookbinding with Regin Igloria of North Branch Projects; visit a Read/Write Library Pop-Up of books and zines by youth; and learn about the history of activism and zines in a workshop where you can make your own zines! Enjoy storytime in our children's reading corner and participate in theater and improv games in the Hull-House Theater space. REFRESHMENTS SERVED! No prior experience necessary. All backgrounds and abilities welcome! Participants will have the opportunity to write, cut, paste, draw and sew. Workshop are wheelchair accessible. Participatory Arts: Crafting Social Change, Participatory Arts: Artist Workshops, and Participatory Arts Family Days are part of Art Design Chicago, an initiative of the Terra Foundation for American Art exploring Chicago’s art and design legacy, with presenting partner The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation. Participatory Arts is funded by the Terra Foundation for American Art and The Richard H. Driehaus Foundation. The Chicago Community Trust has also provided generous support.
