Following the success of IT’s Tissue – The Italian Technology Experience, held in Lucca from June 22 to 30, 2013, the Italian Cultural Institute will host the conference, “Technology, Culture and Tourism: non-conventional marketing, for a new way to communicate the Made in Italy. The Tissue Italy Network's world of production starts in Lucca, Italy's most important tissue capital, through the packaging Valley in Bologna and Reggio Emilia, all the way to the northern city of Lecco. The Network stands for over 1500 employees, a combined turnover of over 500 million Euros, 90 per cent of which is exported, with 100% Italian technology excellence.

In a territory rich in beauty and charm, Italian excellence in tissue was the  protagonist of a journey to discover the most important paper district in Italy  where tradition and innovation are joined.
